Dasavatara
	Matsyavatara When the entire world was submerged with sea water on account of "pralaya", Lord Vishnu emerged as a Fish and protected some people who were in a Boat by driving the same till inundation of the earth receded and protected vedas from the clutches of a Demon who stole Vedas which were born from the face of Brahma.
	Kurmavatara When Asuras were troubling Suras, they approached Lord Vishnu and requested to protect them from the cruel acts of Asuras. He suggested Suras to come to an agreement with Asuyras to churn the Sea with a Mountain called Mandhara. They churned the sea by using serpent Vasuki as a rope to move the mountain. When the mountain was going deep into the sea, Lord Vishnu raised it in the form of a tortoise with its back and made the suras to have the benefit of Amruta.
	Varahavatara When the Mother Earth was inundated with water on account of "Pralaya", Lord vishnu came to earth in the form of Varaha, entered into water and held the earth on its horns by killing a Demon by name Hiranyaksha and saved the earth.
	Narasimhavatara When Hiranya Kasipa was harassing the devotees of Lord Vishnu and attempting to kill his son Prahlada, Lord Vishnu emerged as "Narasimha" from a pillar and killed Hiranya Kasipa and protected his disciple Prahlada and all devotees of Lord Vishnu.
	Vamanavatara A King of Demons by name Bali occupied Heaven and troubled Angels. When Indra prostrated before Lord Vishnu, Vishnu emerged as a "Dwarf" and approached Bali for Alms. When Bali asked him to ask for three gifts, he occupied Earth with one foot, Sky with another foot and asked Bali to show the place for the 3rd foot. Therefore, Balid had to conceded his head for the third foot. By putting the foot on the head of Bali, Vamana pressed him into the earth and protected all Angels and resotred heaven to Lord Indra.
	Parasuramavatara When the country was in chaos and good people were put to trouble, Lord Vishnu was born as Parasurama and killed all greedy kings to protect dharma by getting victory over all kingdoms.
	Ramavatara On account of atrocities committed by Ravana and his brother Kumbhakarna, Mother earth prayed Lord Vishnu to protect her from the atrocities of the Demons, Lord vishnu was born as Rama and killed all the Demons who were troubling people and restored peace by bringing back ethics of Dharma in humanity.
	Balaramavatara In order to eliminate Pralambasura and other rakshasas, Lord Vishnu was born in the form of Balarama to Vasudeva and his wife Rohini. His weapon was a plough.
	Krishnavatara Lord vishnu was born as Srikrishna on the earth and killed Demons like Kamsa, Puthana, Chakrasura and many others. Sisupala, Saindhava and many other kings were also killed for their atrocities towards virtuous persons like Pandavas. Thus Lord Srikrishna proved that whoever observes Dharma will get victory like pandavas.
	Kalki Avatara When truthfulness, purity, mercy, forgiveness, strength are deteriorated, when moneyed people are respected irrespective of their conduct, when cheating becomes the order in the society, when there is no belief on god, Lord Vishnu will be born as Kalki at the end of Kaliyuga and eliminate all bad people from this earth by killing them with a sword by coming on a white horse called Devadatta and restore peace and tranquility in the society.
